Z. Mier
For me, the best clients are exceptional in every sense: curious and engaged, you come open to the experience. You expect to have your knots and tension addressed--that's just good bodywork--but you're ready for something more engaging, something that changes the way you feel about your body, the way you feel about being alive inside of it. My goal is that you leave astonished.
My sessions integrate elements of Swedish, Shiatsu, Deep Tissue, Esalen, Yoga, Active Breathing, and sometimes visualization, depending on to what extent your mind needs to be re-directed to bring it back to your body. It might take a while for us to see each other... but it will be worth it.
Testimonials
"Z.'s session is a one of a kind to me, as, suffering from chronic back pain, and trying pretty much anything available to treat it (from RX to electrical physical therapy) it is the only thing that leaves me pain free for the entire day, and at times for days after.
I am not sure what it is she does, but it works!"

"Over the course of 90 minutes, using her hands and elbows, she kneaded, pressed, pulled and pushed until angry muscle lay calm and subdued over bone. She asked me if I were ok and my first thought was, Is that a rhetorical question? I managed a slightly groggy, yes. A hot towel was then placed over me and I was enveloped in a thin membrane of darkness and heat that made vibrant colors spiral up and twist like a cyclone in my head. I felt a little giddy.
We spoke briefly as I prepared to leave and I reentered the world dreamily like a somnambulist. I felt taller and at peace. Once again capable of reaching my full height and potential."

"In my experience, most therapists who combine serious stretching and deep massage with a softer touch basically provide two sessions -- the first serious and deep, the second soft. Zaby melds the two together in a remarkable way. One moment you feel her strength, the next her tenderness, then her strength again. The fluid combination is truly amazing."
