Pain... Spasm... Pain: The cycle begins with an injury or an occurrence that causes the muscle to tense. The sensation: pain. Inflammation, loss of circulation and emotional frustration result causing spasms and more pain to occur. What is it good for? How do you deal with chronic pain or injuries that keep you from moving freely throughout the world?
Pain is a signal for change. It is our body communicating that something needs to be different. Having studied in great detail the bodys anatomical movement both as a bodyworker and dancer, I am trained to locate and address core issues that are causing tension, misalignment and the sensation of pain. I use different techniques such as trigger point therapy, neuromuscular therapy, connective tissue therapy and cranialsacral therapy to address these specific areas in a way that becomes a connected whole body experience.
I can work with you to help re-pattern inefficient movement patterns so your body can return to homeostasis and find relief.
