In a time of unknown void, tension and uncertainty yoga showed me the way to look deep within myself both physically and mentally to find the root of the cause. Through it, I have found joy, peace, healing and connectedness to myself and others in ways I have never experienced before.
What began as a personal journey has kindled my desire to share this positive experience with others. During my years of teaching yoga, I encountered varying types of bodies and conditions and have learned to work with them. I came to realize that many people had difficulty practicing yoga due to injuries, physical character armor, or the inability to simply relax and release tension. Because each individual is unique, personal attention is essential to maximize healing benefits.
With this intention in mind I developed an interactive method that fuses bodywork with yogic adjustments and breathwork (pranayama). To increase the benefits of bodywork, adjustments are made to align the body and release tension in restorative poses. This is coupled with breathwork (pranayama) to both rejuvenate and further relax the body and the central nervous system. I will be assisting you throughout by synchronizing my breath and energy with yours to enhance relaxation, realignment and restoration. In this way, each individual experience will confirm the interconnectedness of the body, mind, and spirit, which is vital to every healing.
It is my end goal to see you leave the session whole, happy and healed.
